Background
David Ellis is Managing Director and Founder of Waypoint Solutions, LLC. He has almost thirty years of experience in the petroleum, petrochemical, tanker, terminal and consulting industry. For ten years, Mr. Ellis managed global and regional terminals for Odfjell Terminals. Prior to that, Mr. Ellis traded petroleum tankers and chemical tankers at Odfjell SE and Seachem. His 8 year tenure at Amoco Oil Company and Amoco Corporation provides extensive supply and refining experience including supply chain and logistics. Mr. Ellis has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY.
